Cooked by top chefs & eateries this event will incorporate multiple BBQ styles from Diep Thai, Kinara Kitchen’s, Pakastani Grill, Asador Grill, Pitt Bros, The Grill @ Donnybrook Fair, Pig's Tale Homemade Sausages, Fire Foods Bavarian Lumpwood Grill & Toby Shea’s Whole Hog Cook. Vegetarian options will include Diep's Vietnamese Salad, and grilled corn on the sheath with more to be added.
A handpicked selection of the some the best Irish Beers & Ciders from Rascals, Trouble Brewing, Eight Degrees, Dan Kelly as well as the Brewtonic International Bar featuring Dale's Pale Ale, Orpen's Cider, Camden Town Helles, Founder's Rasberry Ale & many more. Wineonline.ie will host a selection of fine wines, proseccos & Daiquiris. Soft drinks will be provided by John Lemon's homemade lemonade range, while the infamous 3FE will be handling coffee brewing.
Our BBQ competition hosted by Toby Shea (3rd Place Memphis in May, Whole Hog Cook). Big Grill goers will be encouraged to take part and cook up their choice of meat, sauces & rubs under the clock to see who is the best Q'r. A kids Qing comp will also run, with prizes for the winners.
Hosted by John Relihan, presently senior sous chef at Jamie Oliver's Barbecoa restaurant in London. John will be running a series of demos including the perfect BBQ steak, beer can chicken, pork filet & pulled pork, as well as grilling techniques, charcoal selection & rubs. John will also host the 'Carnivore Corner' with spit roasting, glazing & open flames.
Frank's Hot Wing Challenge & the Big Blue Bus spicy pizza challenge will see who has the toughest challenge, while the pulled pork sambo challenge will find who has the biggest belly. These competitions will run throughout the weekend. To submit an entry, please click here!
