Cian Mahon

Cian Mahon has been cheffing his way around Dublin for the last five years. Originally hailing from Kilkenny, Cian applies his background in physics to cooking with fire. Leading some of Ireland's most innovative restaurants such as Baste BBQ and Hang Dai, Cian loves to bring his experience from his travels to his kitchen – with a particular love of Argentinian grilling and powerful Asian flavours. 

His food style is simple and no-nonsense, focusing on creating dishes using cheaper cuts, whole animals and offal coming from the best free-range, high-welfare Irish animals, passionate about the quality of meat reared on this island. 

His favourite kitchen? Outside. Over a big fire with great chefs!
