Mursal Saiq

Mursal Saiq was born in Kabul, Afghanistan, raised in Mumbai, India to then grow in Hackney, London.  

 

Her family were forced to evacuate their home and give it up to members of the Taliban during the Afghan 1990’s civil war. 

 

She met Joshua Moroney at a Street Food Market and they opened Cue Point Ldn. Mursal has also started Cue Point Kitchen, a social impact arm, which focuses on building the generational wealth of racialised individuals in the hospitality industry.   

Cue Point Ldn is an inclusive catering company, named one of Time Outs best London restaurants in 2022. Merging British and Afghan flavours, specialising in smoked meats, to create inclusive and delicious recipes.  

Cue Point is one of the UK's first Inclusive BBQ companies utilising global BBQ methodologies Cue Point Ldn. As well as it’s ethos of inclusivity Cue Point has quickly made a name for itself as one of the best barbeque joints in London.
